Official guide to the natural, picturesque setting of The Atholl Glens, in the heart of Highland Perthshire. Visitor and local information for the Atholl villages of Blair Atholl, Bruar, Calvine, Killiecrankie, and Struan.
The communities in the Atholl Glens join the nation in grief at the passing of our wonderful Queen, Elizabeth II. For most of us, she has simply been there all our lives - a guiding, comforting presence and a woman who devoted her life in service to our country. We extend our deepest condolences to her family.
A local book of condolence is available at Kilmaveonaig Church in Blair Atholl, which is open from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm. Should anyone wish to lay flowers, we feel it is appropriate to place them at The Queens Platinum Jubilee Beacon, where we celebrated her long reign just a few months ago.
An on-line book of condolence from the Palace is also available www.royal.uk/send-message-condolence.
