About Us

We are a group of local volunteers who are committed to ensuring that The Atholl Glens is the organisation that members of the community and tourists alike, can assuredly turn to for up to date and accurate local information. Indeed our stated objective is:

“To develop and maintain a fully inclusive business, tourism and community organisation, serving the interest of local businesses whilst ensuring easy access to accurate information for both visitors and those living and working within The Atholl Glens, on the many amenities, businesses, local organisations and events.”

In 2021, the “old” Tourist Association became The Atholl Glens - a Community, Tourism and Business Association. Our website is growing and developing as more businesses and community groups join as new members and it is our aim that it will become the “go to” place for all up-to-date local information. We have a growing following on both our Website and on our Facebook page too – check it out, share it with friends and feel free to “like” us!

To date we have run some very successful events such as Christmas light switch on, Christmas Market, Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Beacon lighting and a Jubilee Family Picnic.

If you own a business, or help run a community group, which might benefit from being part of this, the online membership form on the website will take you through the simple process. Indeed we are always looking for new committee members so please contact us if you have some free time and an interest in what we are doing.
